feel the love generation....

Lego. that is what i hear now as i sit in the hostel in Piura. My friend forgot my name, rightly so after a month in site and he saw me again and called me Lego. It stuck. ha. I have also heard Lebo like Lobo(wolf in Spanish) but Loba(feminine ending) cause I'm a girl. Listening to the new Beyonz song after practicing our socio dram for the aids meeting tomorrow. I hear the same five cumbia and reggeton songs wherever I go. They have fabulous lyrics and beets that don't lie! I heard the ocean these past few days. And the sound of the surf board squeaking and gliding through the water. I heard the sounds of a real belgian waffle crunching beneath my teeth and the chatter of multiple languages floating in the salty air. Soon I will hear the rain as it rushes down the mountain. I will hear the birds and the dogs and my extended host family waking me up every morning. And I will share all these sounds with visitors. My first ones. This is an exciting couple of weeks, I hope the same goes for you all.
hugs
